Social Activities

Look out for the numerous social events that we put together thoughout the year. We have pizza, movie nights, and Christian roller-skating as well as open-mic nights, retreats, and a formal dance every year. Check out the picture galleries in the Snap-Shots tab to get a feel of what we do, and remember to look for announcements of upcoming events.

Coffee House

This is Newman Center's open-mic social night. There's one every term, each with it's own costume theme (ranging from Christmas and Through the Decades to 'I Never Wanna Grow Up' and 'Pirates Versus Ninjas'). Dress up , bring an act or a performance (talent not required), and have fun. As always there's snacks and refreshements—that go along with the theme.

Bible Study

What does a Catholic Priest have to say about the Bible? Yes, the Bible!
Well, it won’t be “Jesus cries every time you sin” or “Did you know that the locusts in the book of Revelation refer to helicopters?”
Come and see.
